Pumpkin Patch

We had a half day of school, so when we finished everything in town, we met our friends at the pumpkin patch. It was so much fun. Shelby, Colesy, Jared and Micah LOVE to be together. We do stuff all the time. It was fun to have them come with us. The boys pulled the girls in the wagons that are provided for pumpkin shopping. They had a lot of fun doing that. We also played in a maze made with hay bales and the corn field maze (although that wasn't classified as fun!)

and the other winner is...

Shelby!!! There was a coloring contest for Kindergarten through 6th grades. Shelby won 3rd prize for her coloring. Not too bad for a second grader! The 1st and 2nd place winners are in 5th grade. The pictures were on display all week in the hallway.

and the winner is....

Colesy!!! Every year at the school book fair, there is a jar with candy that the kids guess how many pieces are stuffed in. This year, the winner was Colesy. She guessed 405 and there were 417. She even gets to keep the candy! Lucky us!

Okay, since I'm just starting, I have a lot to catch you up on! This is Shelby and her friend Jessica. (2 years ago at Kindergarten graduation). They are still in the same class at school, and still are very good friends.

This is the infamous picture that mom thinks is hysterical. I was afraid for my LIFE!!! This was the ride that took you up a million feet in the air and then dropped you free-fall. I almost peed my pants, I was so scared! Everyone else seemed to really enjoy the terror!

Suzie came home a couple weeks ago and brought her new puppy Evie. The girls LOVED her. Isn't she cute?

Colesy too!

Colesy finally decided to get her ears pierced. She was very brave and didn't cry at all. She made me very proud of her! She picked pink "diamond" studs. She looks so pretty with them!

Shelby's new smile

Shelby lost the bottom tooth at school. She looks silly now with the 2 missing teeth, but isn't it a precious smile? Miss Fran said it caused quite a commotion when it came out. She brought it up to me in the office. I took a picture of her smile and emailed it to Daddy's phone. He liked the new smile too.

first day of school

For the first day of school, the girls decided they wanted to be "twins". this was the best I could do considering the dress code! Aren't they cute?

Okay, I did it!!!

I think I can do this! We'll give it a whirl. Our life is not that interesting, nor do I have time to talk to everyone, so maybe this is the best way to communicate! Okay, so that is all for now.
