That left just these 2 babies, who are certainly getting big! I knew we left at the wrong time to watch them get big. When we left, they still didn't have their eyes open. Lots can happen in 8 days - especially when you are a robin!
Mom and Dad Robin still brought them food OFTEN during the day. They made a big noise chirping and talking when they came, but were absolutely silent when they were left alone.
Look how big they are sitting in the nest. I tried for another shot from the top looking down on them, but I soon found out that was a monumental mistake!
It scared them and they both flew out. One headed for the shed roof, and the other one, well, I was unable to track his progress. Mom AND Dad were both near enough to hear the desperate squawking of their babies and flew in at me. I was standing on the porch at the top of the steps and both big robins flew in a hovered feet from my face SCREAMING in outrage about the untimely eviction of their babies. I wish I would have had my wits to take a picture of them. I was SCARED though. 
The baby was running up the roof, and this is the last we saw of them. It has been quiet here today.
I really enjoyed having them use our porch for their home. Maybe I'll keep their nest. :)
